Our Story
Where cold water meets warm community
It all began with a phone call to a dear friend back in New York. We were both craving something new. She was grieving the loss of her father; I was coming out of the pandemic, exhausted from keeping our business afloat. We both wanted the same thing: travel.
Before long, we settled on Norway. Not the typical girlfriends’ getaway, but it felt right. The chance to chase the northern lights was magnetic. Above the Arctic Circle, in the stunning town of Tromsø, I had my first floating sauna experience - and it changed everything.
The moment I plunged into the icy fjord after a steamy sauna session with a dozen strangers, I felt completely alive. My heart was racing, my mind was quiet, and I thought, Why aren’t we doing this in Maine?
By the time my plane touched back down, the idea was already in motion. I met with town leaders, business owners, and planners. I created slide decks and pitched potential ideas.
Two years later, that spark has become a reality: Dryppe Sauna & Cold Plunge.
Meet Kelleigh
Founder Kelleigh Dulany discovered the power of contrast therapy after years of running a 24/7 business and navigating the stress that came with it. What began as cold showers and winter dips with friends evolved into a passion for creating a space where others could experience the same renewal, clarity, and calm.
“Tucked away just minutes from downtown, Dryppe was the perfect oasis to end our weekend getaway.”
